About Mii
My name is MJ Hufford. Growing up, I was convinced that I’d be a famous guitarist. That plan didn’t pan out, so I converted to nerdism. I was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Cincinnati, OH. I’ve also lived in southern California, Idaho, Utah & the “Mountain Momma” state of West Virginia. I’m currently living with my beautiful wife and four kids in the NW Arkansas area where I’m employed as an IT Manager. I manage an agile ASP.NET Application Development Team and our local network infrastructure team.
My step-father gets credit for my interest in all things technology. Our first computer was an Apple II+. Oh, how I miss “Dig Dug”.  Collecovision and Nintendo shortly followed along with a few flavors of computers. We had a beautiful, green screened IBM and another Apple – I think it was a IIe. In 1995, we had the coveted Gateway 133 with Windows 95! *Dramatic pause*
Nowadays, I work on a MacBook Pro and use BootCamp to dual-boot between Snow Leopard and Windows 7. I also have an iMac that I use at the house for general computer and home recording. I use a home brew HTPC running MediaCenter on Windows 7 and it’s incredible. I spend a lot of my time in .NET development.  Thanks for stopping by!
